A beautifully proportioned gentleman's manual winding wrist watch by Tudor.
A classically proportioned gentleman's wristwatch produced in approximately 1947.
The dial is a wonderful warm patinated cream and is unrestored. The numerals and hands are gilt, with Arabic 12, 3, 6 and 9 numerals interspersed with teardrop five minute markers. The watch has a well proportioned stainless steel Rolex Oyster case with knurled screw down case back and Oyster screw down crown.
The 17 jewel manual winding movement is a Tudor finished and branded ETA 1182 calibre and is finished in Rose gold plating. The movement beats 18000 BPH and has a power reserve of 42 hours.

The watch is fully serviced and keeping good time. The dial is original and shows a nice patination effect from age. The lume in the hands has deteriorated and has gone black. There are some very fine marks on the dial. The acrylic glass is new. The Oyster crown is original and in good condition. The case is in good condition. The case has been polished over the years.
